Story

Founded in Iceland in the mid 90ies, Eskimo sparked out in 1998 to search more "dottirs" in Russia's Wild East: Siberia. Our main office in Tomsk is overlooking scouting activities in Omsk, Novosibirsk, Barnaul, Ufa, Moscow and all Russia. We focus on primary scouting at schools, and have gained a reputation for being - yes - very selective, but developing and launching in turn new talent quickly and at the highest level.

In early 2001, we opened doors in Slovakia. We consider this step as the move towards true internationalization of our business and as the bridgehead for further expansion in Central Europe. From Kosice our van Alice systematically travels the country to make sure that we don't miss any unpolished diamond not even in the most remote.

Also in 2001, we touched the shores of Rio de Janeiro … and settled. We eventually moved further South to Florianopolis with the intention to be closer to the fertile scouting grounds in Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Caterina and Parana. In September 2002 we made a strategic investment in Bohemia Model Management, a well-established agency in Prague. Since then we extended our geographical reach to Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Belarus and the Ukraine where were we try to see potential first and eventually manage its career.

Clients and
partners

We place our models, our primary clients, with agencies around the world; our selection criteria are based on retailing/booking abilities, performance, financial soundness, and sympathy.

We try to be an open, involving and reliable partner - qualities which we'd like to be measured against. Our business is highly competitive and we aggressively seek to expand relationships – downstream by placing more models with the more successful agencies, and upstream through cooperation with agencies without our specific skills and critical mass and with individual scouts.

We want to be a fair competitor and do not want to denigrate other professionals in our business, although we reserve the right to occasionally laugh about ourselves, badmouth our friends and tease our best clients.

Visions and
values

All of us at Eskimo, wherever we are, whatever we do, want our agency to be an exciting and rewarding place to be. Our job is to find the best new modeling talent in any of the many countries around the world we work in. We will train the new models in all aspects of their new profession, and when they are ready, and only when they are ready, we will launch them on their international career. Then we will be with them, as a promoter, guide and friend for the rest of their professional lives. We really want the best for our models, at all times, and for all time.

We believe that having the best models, well-trained and professional in their attitude and behavior is the best way to serve our clients. Our experience shows that if we serve our clients well, our own success will follow.

Our assets are our people, capital and reputation. If any of these is ever diminished, the last is the most difficult to restore. Because we are one agency, but in many countries, we want to make sure that our clients, models and agencies, will meet the same high standards wherever and whenever they touch Eskimo. We want them to count on the quality of our work, and the honesty of our dealings.

Our business is hard work. We always do our best. We really enjoy it.

Всемирно известное материнское агентство ESKIMO MODEL MANAGEMENT, основанное в Исландии в середине 90–Ñ…, постепенно расширяется и открывает офисы по всему миру: в Бразилии, Исландии, Словакии, Германии, Чехии, Франции, Украине. Главный офис в России был открыт в 1998 году в Томске со скаутинговой деятельностью в Омске, Новосибирске, Барнауле, Уфе, Москве и по всей России в целом.

Наша задача найти новые таланты, интересные типажи, разглядеть модельный потенциал. Мы на практике обучаем начинающих моделей всем аспектам их новой профессии, готовим и планируем их модельную карьеру. Мы всегда рядом: направляем, советуем, заботимся. Мы верим, что наш вклад в моделей, это лучший показатель того, как мы заботимся о наших партнерах и клиентах. И благодаря этому, мы добиваемся успеха в модельном бизнесе. Модельная карьера — это американские горки, со взлетами и падениями, с восторженными вздохами и громкими слезами, но мы имеем большой опыт, и знаем, как предостеречь начинающих моделей и помочь им справится со всеми трудностями и устоять на вершине успеха. Наш бизнес — это тяжелый труд, но мы делаем все возможное, чтобы добиться отличного результата. Мы действительно любим то, что делаем!

За время существования агентства, у нас сложились тесные контакты с лучшими мировыми агентствами: New York Models, Models1, Nathalie, Elite, Women, Next, Marilyn, Fashion, Modelwerk, Donna и многими другими. Результатом нашей работы является успех наших девочек на мировых подиумах, не один сезон не обходится без наших моделей: Влада Рослякова, Соланж, Элуиз Гурен, Магдалена Ясек, Алексина Грэхам, и это далеко не полный список.
